Hello all – welcome to our website for the club. I’ve set this up so that really, anyone with a smartphone can update it. A proper “club” website. I’ve also set up a generic email address so that anyone you decide can have access to the emails from the site. You can make this the club’s official email if you like, and get everything sent there. It’s a gmail address, so it has a shared calendar attached to it, which is the calendar you will see on the site if you click the calendar menu link above. So there is no double work – whoever updates the calendar attached to the email address is effectivey updating the website.
The photos are a feed from a flickr account I have set up, so anyone who has flickr compatibility on their mobile phone, is welcome to set up an account for here and upload photos to it, which will then appear on the site automatically under the “gallery” menu link. The same goes for the youtube account and the “videos” link
Update your headed notepaper to include the web address of the site. I’ll add a links page and we can add the K&D site , the SBA site and other Clubs’ sites to that, but I’m confident we’ll be trailblazers of sorts in terms of websites as we are really making good use of web 2.0 technologies and social networking methods.
